Using the Heat & Glo AI Visualizer, the concept first came to life digitally helping visualize placement, proportions and finishes before construction began.

The Allusion Edge fireplace can be installed onto a wall or built-in for a totally seamless look. For this project, framing it in was the perfect option to aesthetically complement the plans for built-in cabinets on both sides of the fireplace. This foundational step sets the structure for a recessed installation, giving the fireplace a sleek, flush appearance that feels custom-built.

Next came drywall installation and careful mudding to smooth out every edge of the new wall. This stage brought the structure to life, shaping the clean lines that would frame the linear fireplace and built-ins perfectly.

Once the surface was ready, it was time to add texture and tone. A warm, neutral faux-limewash paint color complemented the surrounding shelves and cabinetry, creating a cohesive look that highlights the captivating digital flames. The built-ins were finished to hide technology and cords, keeping the design elegant and clutter-free.

The result is a seamless blend of style and function, making the lower-level living room the coziest spot in the house. The Allusion Edge fireplace delivers four flame effects and glowing logs and embers that enhance the room’s warmth and ambiance - with or without heat.
